I used to wonder why people paid some times small fortunes for just a canvas with someone's drawings on it.

At the end, It was paint, nothing more.

Now, I finally understand.

When you look at a piece of art, it's not about the artist's name or the skill required... not even about the art itself.

All that matters is...

How does it make you feel?

You are purchasing a feeling.

I guess is the same reason I go back to the same cheap places I used to go when in my younger years, it's not about the food, or the old rusty wear out place.

It's all about the feeling and the memories it brings me back.
